Carving Knife – Damascus Steel
$1,280.00
The wonderful thing about our Damascus steel is its always hand-forged, good old hammer an anvil. This produces something intrinsically valued and beautiful. Each piece is uniquely different like a finger print, and no piece alike.

Damascus steel in the modern sense is created by forging stacking different types of steel together. Under intense heat and pressure this combination laminates. Applying various techniques of both layering and twisting the smith is able to produce an array of patterns. Original Damascus steel dates back as early as the Viking age.
